Krakow Live Festival Feature Rosalie and Marcelina with Celebrated Drummer Deregowski

Wojtek Deregowski has earned his place among the best contemporary rock drummers in the Polish scene a lot due to his signature sound, which some describe as full of languid grace and emotional intelligence with virtuosic and harsh stick work. Marrying his rockish DNA with funk, metal, and fusion elements, Deregowski is the author of an indeed unclassifiable sound and style that has been making him a unique and important voice among the nation’s best drummers for many years now. Highlighted continually by important drums magazines like Perkusista Magazine and Poczuj Rytm, and by the major Polish and European productions of Rosalie’s Potrzeba Skal and Nie mów, Jestes pragnieniem by Sorry Boys, Raj by Bartek Krolik, No Va Mas by Dario Imaz, and his own solo and the notorious Mawn’s Gallery, he has also garnered important awards in Poland (of those, we note Song Of The Year and Album Of The Year with Rosalie, the 2021 and for Bratek Królik Pan Od Muzyki for RnB/soul/gospel album of the year 2021, and his distinction at the Piosenkarnia competition and the Gramy Swoje Award for his band Mawn’s Gallery).

At the Krakow Live Festival, his band’s concerts started with the band Marcelina at the central Tent Stage of the festival. We loved the extremely energetic concert, and the 60 thousand enthusiastic audience members of the crowd seemed to have the same reaction. On the second, main night of the festival, his concert with his long-time Rosalie accompanied by other iconic bands of Years & Years, Post Malone, and Calvin Harris, we experienced many soul-lifting moments.
