Cassia unleashes summer anthem ‘High Tones’

Cassia have released a brand new track entitled ‘High Tones’, with an unparalleled summer vibe, groovy bass and funky electric guitars set the tone for the instrumental, being backed up with a bright drum pattern and glittery synths. The track truly begs to be played on a hot day, at the beach, in the car, at a party, soundtracking your summer this year.

The band have come a long way from their humble beginnings, creating their seaside sound in Macclesfield, near Manchester. Along their journey they’ve released two albums, toured relentlessly, a live session at BBC Radio 1’s Maida Vale Studios and two hottest records.

On the new release, the band shares, “The song was written from memories of being drunk at festivals last summer and the anticipation for festival season this year. Nothing beats that blissful chaos that always ensues. The sound of everything around you becoming modulated and weird, and your vision may get blurry, and you’re just so captivated in the moment. We’d get in the van with the lights of the road and the high tones ringing in our ears. Usually the mark of a memorable night. We wanted to make a song that encompassed that feeling for us, one you can dance to, that’s carefree & funky with loads of bounce and groove.”

Cassia now prepares to support Circa Waves and Bastille as well as take to the stage at festivals this summer. The band is only going to grow in popularity so if you aren’t a fan, get ready to be!
