Ranking Every Episode Of Season 4 Of ‘Breaking Bad’

The third season of Breaking Bad was incredible. I ranked every episode last time around, and it was not easy. Fun, but not easy. Now, it’s time for season four. I’m betting it is quite good, but how good? And which episode is the best? And the least good? I’m guessing every episode is at least pretty good, but let’s find out. Here is my ranking of every episode of season four of Breaking Bad.

13. “Bullet Points”

12. “Bug”

11. “Open House”

10. “Thirty-Eight Snub”

9. “Problem Dog”

8. “End Times”

7. “Cornered”

6. “Crawl Space”

5 . “Shotgun”

4. “Box Cutter”

3. “Hermanos”

2. “Face Off”

1. “Salud”

Yep, a wall-to-wall good season of TV. A couple episodes aren’t remarkable, but they are still good. I definitely am not quibbling too much. Marie’s kleptomania may not be all that interesting, but that’s not going to run an episode by any means.

Then, there are the top episodes. Clearly, I enjoyed Gus getting his vengeance on Don Eladio and company. I also loved the season finale, which of course ends on an iconic image. “Face Off” delivers on that title in a big way! It also served as a huge turning point for Breaking Bad. Gus Fring, a great character, was removed as the Big Bad. That didn’t mean the story wouldn’t remain interesting. Now, onto season five!
