Rosario A. Duran, a Mexican-American actress and model, made her professional television debut in 2017 with a role in the science-fiction series “The Blockade Runner.” She has also appeared in several short films such as “Come with Me,” “The Premiere,” “Red for Red,” and “Captive Dinner,” all released in 2021. Born on May 6, 1999, Duran grew up in Elkhorn, United States, within a family that shared a love for films and movies; however, her parents didn’t support her dream of becoming an actor initially. Her passion for acting stemmed from her love of watching Spanish soap operas airing on Telemundo and Univision, and she spent hours consuming Spanish and English content.
Rosario enrolled in various acting schools to polish her skills and put in a lot of effort to enhance her abilities. At the age of 11, Duran started taking acting classes. She made her first appearance in a short film titled “Genesis,” when she was 17, which earned her recognition and paved the way for more opportunities. Despite having a small role, her professional acting background helped her make a lasting impression and even led to the director making changes to the script to include her. Encouraged by the director’s appreciation, Rosario continued to work hard and signed up for her next project, the 2019 film “Emilija.” In the film, Duran portrayed the role of Thalia, a friend of a Serbian teen struggling with a secret kept by her father, alongside co-stars Oscar Pavlo and Lara Vorkapic.

Rosario is also known for her appearances in the union of Cine Mexicano, a highly-rated Spanish-language movie network that features Mexican movies.
Rosario has won the hearts of audiences with her outstanding acting skills in the movie “15 Dias En La Sierra,” directed by the renowned Mexican cinema icon Valentin Trujillo Jr. Her clear and bold expressions on screen, coupled with her smooth delivery of dialogues, have impressed audiences and critics alike. Rosario also appeared in “Vicio Capital,” where she worked alongside Telemundo actor Moises Cardez.
