Louie Valentino and Troop: A Memorable Performance at Thunder Valley Casino

Louie Valentino, a rising DJ, recently shared how he landed a gig with Troop, a popular R&B group from the 90s. Valentino revealed that it all started with a chance encounter with the group’s manager, Liane Ritchie-Strong. She needed a flash drive for the show and Valentino offered his computer to help. Impressed with his willingness to assist, Ritchie-Strong introduced Valentino as a DJ to the group, and he ended up putting together their set in just 20 minutes.

Valentino’s journey as a DJ started a couple of years ago when he learned from a friend at the Dope Era store. He eventually got his first controller, and his big break came when he was asked to DJ for Boosie’s show after Mistah Fab recommended him. Since then, Valentino has been honing his skills and learning how to control the crowd in different settings.

When asked about his experience working with Troop, Valentino shared that it was a unique sound blend that was easy to mix in, and he enjoyed playing their classic hit, “All I Do,” which got the crowd hyped up. He also mentioned the energy and the great vibe on stage, particularly during their performance of “Mamacita.”

Valentino had nothing but praise for the Troop members, saying they were all nice, had great energy, and were welcoming. He hopes to work with them again in the future.

In terms of advice for aspiring DJs, Valentino emphasized the importance of being musically in-tuned and having a variety of music in different genres. He also stressed the need to learn how to control a crowd and adjust to different settings.

While Valentino doesn’t have any projects in the works as of now, he’s most proud of his last-minute experience with Troop, where everything went as planned, and everyone was happy from the artist to the fans. With his passion for music and his determination to succeed, it’s clear that Louie Valentino is a DJ to watch out for in the coming years.
