Kole Akintujoye is one name that probably needs no introduction. This Nigerian-born American, a medical professional, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, is best known for founding the charitable organization “Give Us Our Daily Beard, which feeds the hungry and assists the needy.
Kole lived through the hard realities of hunger and poverty as a child in Nigeria. These difficulties gave him the will to improve the lives of those going through comparable difficulties. Kole hopes that through telling his story, others may be motivated to act and help others who are unable to meet their fundamental necessities.
Kole realized his dream by founding the “Give Us Our Daily Bread” charity in February 2022. With the help of this website, people from different backgrounds can offer their money, time, and effort to help those in need. Kole is dedicated to his work and aggressively seeks assistance from national and international sources despite the difficulties in obtaining resources. Give Us Our Daily Bread is aimed to assist every individual who cannot afford daily bread.
When asked about his difficulties in his mission to end hunger, he says, “The hardest difficulty is gaining the public’s faith. Finding these contributors might be difficult because every donor wants to know that their donation improves the lives of those we assist. Give Us Our Daily Bread Foundation will start soliciting funds from the general public on social media and other avenues accessible after requesting what is known as a determination letter from the US Department of Internal Revenue Services to overcome these difficulties.”
Today, the Give us Our Daily Bread foundation is also providing financial assistance to the widows through its “feed the widows project.” The idea for the second program came into existence after Mrs. Onaderu, a widow, participated in the foundation’s ongoing programs and related her account of hardship and suffering; the idea for the program was born. Her story inspired the organization to think about how they could assist other widows in similar situations.
Kole Akintujoye’s journey from personal adversity to international philanthropy is a motivating example of the strength of fortitude, compassion, and generosity. Kole has turned his struggles into a force for good because of his own experiences, proving that pain can catalyze change. He now extends an open invitation to others to join him in helping people in need and serving humanity.
The National Bureau of Statistics estimates that 133 million Nigerians living in poverty might lead to a level of hunger that has never before been seen in Nigeria. Despite this situation’s hopelessness, the Give Us Daily Bread Foundation is driven to fight against the odds and end hunger. In the words of one of their beneficiaries, “Every night, we would pray to God to show some mercy to my family. I feel blessed to have found the foundation that has enhanced our standard of living and helped us reap the rewards numerous times. My family can now bravely feed others with the little we have been given here, and we can also save a little money so that others might profit from us. God bless the donors!”
By joining this movement, people and organizations can provide their time, money, and expertise to make a positive difference in the lives of the less fortunate. Kole’s vision is to build a community of caring individuals who share his enthusiasm for fighting poverty and ending hunger. Together, we can do our part to end the cycle of poverty, give people in need more power, and provide them with the tools they need for a better future. A growing number of people are carrying out Kole’s goal, strengthening its overall influence and increasing the possibility of significant change.
