Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Altitude: 1,400 m

You can take some time to independently tour the city after you’ve settled in. A wonderful city with a deep history and tradition is Kathmandu.

You’ll meet your hiking guide in the evening for a briefing on the Annapurna Circuit Trip. You’ll talk about the trek’s schedule, route, required gear, and any other pertinent details you should be aware of before beginning the walk.

Following the briefing, you’ll have some free time to further explore the city, sample some local food, or buy last-minute trekking supplies or mementos. Spend the night at your Kathmandu hotel.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Kathmandu
Altitude: 1,400 m

You will have the entire day today to tour Kathmandu’s cultural and historical attractions. You’ll meet your tour guide after breakfast, and you’ll go on a tour of some of the most well-known sites in the city. The ancient center of the city and UNESCO World Heritage Site, Kathmandu Durbar Square, will be your first stop.

There are numerous temples, palaces, and courtyards in the Kathmandu Valley that display traditional art and architecture. The next stop is the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Patan Durbar Plaza. Ancient temples, shrines, and courtyards are among the items and works of traditional local art that may be found in the Patan Museum.

We will also visit the Monkey Temple, also known as Swayambhunath Stupa, in the afternoon. Atop a hill, this Buddhist stupa provides sweeping views of the city. Day 4: Drive to Chame via a jeep
Altitude: 2,650 m
Duration: 6-7 hours

On day 4 of your Annapurna Circuit Trek, you will take a jeep trip to the town of Chame from your starting location. Depending on traffic and the state of the roads, this portion of your journey will cover somewhere between 67 and 7 hours.

You will pass through the Marsyangdi River Valley and enjoy breathtaking views of the Himalayan Alps on the trip from your starting location to Chame. You’ll pass through several small towns and villages along the road, giving you the chance to take in local life and culture.

You’ll notice a shift in the scenery as you get closer to Chame since the ground gets rougher and the mountains appear closer. Manang’s district seat, Chame, is a thriving town with a variety of stores, eateries, and guesthouses for trekkers.

Day 5: Trek to Pisang
Altitude: 3,250 m

The Marsyangdi River is crossed by a number of small settlements, farms, and suspension bridges as you go.

Day 6: Trek to Ngwal

The sixth day of the Annapurna Circuit Trek will be spent traveling between Pisang and Ngwal. Depending on your pace and the trail’s conditions, this part of your journey should take you between 4-5 hours and cover about 10 kilometers.

The route from Pisang to Ngwal passes through lovely woodlands and provides breathtaking views of the Himalayan peaks, including Tilicho Peak, Annapurna II, III, and IV. You’ll also pass through a number of tiny villages along the road and get a taste of the local way of life and culture. The landscape will dry out and the vegetation will alter as you get closer to Ngwal.

A little settlement called Ngwal, which is around 3,660 meters above sea level, is renowned for its breathtaking views of the Annapurna range. You’ll get the chance to tour the village and its surroundings once you get to Ngwal. You can go to the nearby monastery, which has amazing views of the Alps and is perched on a hill above the settlement. You can also stroll through the village to get a feel for daily life and culture.

Day 7: Trek to Manang
Altitude: 3,519 m
Duration: 4 hrs

Your seventh day of your Annapurna Circuit Trek will be spent traveling between Ngwal and Manang. Depending on your pace and the trail’s conditions, this 9-kilometer section of your journey will take you between 3 and 4 hours.

You may enjoy breathtaking views of the Annapurna range while hiking from Ngwal to Manang, which passes through parched terrain. Also, you’ll go through a number of small towns and get a taste of the local way of life.

You’ll notice a shift in the landscape and vegetation as you get closer to Manang. At an elevation of roughly 3,540 meters, the bigger village of Manang is renowned for its traditional architecture and breathtaking vistas of the Himalayan mountains.

Day 9: Trek to Tilicho basecamp

You will be hiking from Tilicho Base Camp to Tilicho Lake today, followed by a return trip to Shreekharka. Depending on your pace and the trail’s conditions, this part of your journey should take you 8 to 9 hours and cover about 16 kilometers.

To make the most of the day and make sure you have enough time to finish the hike, you will start the day early in the morning. Although the trek to Tilicho Lake is steep and difficult, the breathtaking views of the lake and the neighboring mountains make it all worthwhile.

Tilicho Lake, one of the highest lakes in the world, is situated at a height of roughly 4,919 meters. The lake is revered by both Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims, and many people think that bathing in its chilly waters will atone for their sins.

You will return to Tilicho Base Camp after spending some time at Tilicho Lake, then go to Shreekharka. The majority of the trek from Tilicho Base Camp to Shreekharka is downhill and provides breathtaking Himalayan mountain views.

The route from Shreekharka to Yak Kharka passes through lovely countryside and provides breathtaking views of the Annapurna Mountains.

Altitude: 2,743 m

Muktinath is a revered Hindu temple because it is thought to be the residence of Lord Vishnu. Through the nunnery, it also represents peace between Hindus and Buddhists. Throughout this day’s journey, you will learn a lot about different religions.

The landscape and vegetation will alter as you descend, becoming more lush and green. As you go along the Kali Gandaki River Trail, which passes through one of the deepest canyons in the world, you will be treated to stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

As you approach Jomsom, which combines Tibetan and Nepalese traditions, you’ll notice a change in the mood and culture. Jomsom, which serves as the gateway to Upper Mustang, is a bustling town with a wide selection of teahouses, hotels, shops, and restaurants.

We will begin descending into Jomsom, the windiest town in Nepal, after exploring. In this location, you may view a variety of natural landscapes from your hotel window.

Day 15: Fly to Pokhara for 20 mins & relax
Altitude: 822 m
Duration: 20 mins

After breakfast in your hotel or teahouse in Jomsom, you’ll take a flight to Pokhara. The picturesque flight offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

After you arrive in Pokhara, check into your accommodation, then spend the rest of the day exploring the city and its surroundings. Pokhara is a popular tourist destination since it has a number of attractions such as Phewa Lake, Davis Falls, Mahendra Cave, and the World Peace Pagoda.

Day 16: Drive back to Kathmandu

Duration: 7-8 hours

Day 17: Free day & Relaxation
Altitude: 1,400 m

You will have a free day on day 17 of your Annapurna Circuit Trek to unwind and explore Kathmandu. This day offers a chance to unwind and soak in the culture and vitality of Nepal’s capital city after weeks of trekking and being immersed in nature.

There are numerous sights and experiences to be obtained in Kathmandu, a city with a rich history and culture.
