Getting Pizza In Wellsville

Alright, picture this. You’re in Wellsville, the town from The Adventures of Pete & Pete. You want a pizza. Is there anybody from the town you trust to order that pizza for you? Let’s break it down!

Neither Little Pete or Nona is trustworthy. They’re too odd. We imagine Little Pete ordering some bizarre pizza, especially if somebody else is eating it too. Like, he’s the kind of kid that gets anchovies as a bit, right? Artie may be the strongest man in the world, but he’s way too eccentric as well. We don’t trust most of Big Pete or Little Pete’s friends, frankly. Or their enemies. Endless Mike isn’t to be trusted with our pizza.

Does Joyce Wrigley have good taste in pizza? We feel like she just gets something generic. Like, she’d just go get that Hot ‘n Ready pizza from Little Caesar’s. Don, though, probably has thoughts on pizza. He also seems like the kind of guy who feels like pizza should be piled with meat. If that’s your thing, great. If you don’t want meat lover’s pizza, though, that’s a problem with Don, we imagine.

Big Pete, though, is probably pretty trustworthy. Now, he’ll eat a greasy slice of pepperoni pizza, we know. The thing is, we bet if you said you wanted pizza, he’s asking what you want on it. If you want pepperoni, he has you covered, but if you want, say, a veggie pizza, he’ll do that. Ellen seems the same way. Of course, if you are an adult in Wellsville, maybe you don’t want to be getting pizza with a couple teenagers, but if you were in a position where Big Pete or Ellen is ordering the pizza you’ll be eating, you’ll be fine.
