Vagaro vs. Mindbody vs. WellnessLiving vs. Yottled: Recommendation
If you’re a soloprenuer or have a small team: Vagaro and Yottled would be a preferable choice because Vagaro starts from $25 and Yottled is free. Mindbody and WellnessLiving’s starter plans are too expensive for a small business. With Vagaro and Yottled, you’ll get all the basic business management features like online booking, registration, payment integration, gift cards, form, CRM, notifications and reminders, and email marketing tools.
If you have a large team: WellnessLiving, Mindbody, and Yottled offers unlimited employees’ digital schedulers. While Vagaro’s each team member’s calendar for each location is chargeable. Hence, Vagaro would be a highly expensive solution for larger teams and businesses with multiple locations.
If you’re looking for advanced features: For the waitlist, a pick-a-spot facility, and highly technical reports, consider WellnessLiving and Mindbody.
If you need to place your business on the marketplace: Mindbody, WellnessLiving, and Vagaro have a platform where they list all their clients’ businesses with geographical segmentation. So for example, if you search “fitness trainer in Tampa” in Mindbody’s marketplace, you will see all the fitness trainers in Tampa who use Mindbody. Same for WellnessLiving and Vagaro. It’s a double-edged sword, though. If your competitors reduce the prices or have better reviews, you may lose customers (and even employees). Yottled has “No Marketplace” policy so that your customers don’t get diverted when they arrive on your booking page.
If you don’t want to pay for add-ons: Yottled has all the features included in its free plan with unlimited usage, locations, and employees. While Mindbody, WellnessLiving, and Vagaro have many amenities as add-ons at an extra monthly cost. Vagaro has some crucial amenities such as forms, text notifications, storage, etc. as add-ons which you ended up paying as you’ll require them frequently.
If you’re not tech-savvy or don’t have a technical team: Choose Yottled and WellnessLiving over Vagaro and Mindbody. Yottled and WellnessLiving are comparatively easier to navigate and manage while Vagaro needs some technical training to operate. Mindbody is the most difficult to operate and it generally requires 3 to 6 months of intensive training for you and your employees.
