When we think of Afghanistan, we think about war, struggle, and hardships. Especially when it comes to women, we can’t help but imagine women getting oppressed and never being able to fulfill their dreams. Rashida Aziz is proving that these thoughts that we typically have about an Afghan woman are mere caricatures. As a former Afghan immigrant, 48-year-old Rashida Azizi is the embodiment of empowerment and the never dying spirit that is inside every human.
2022 and 2023 have already been significant years for this Afghan star. We stand only 3 months into 2023, and she has already traveled to Egypt and made it into the top 3 of the 33 women competing for the titles in the Miss and Misses Germany event. She left Egypt with the Miss popularity and Miss elegance titles given to her by the judges. In 2022 one year prior, she was chosen as Miss Hessen.

She spends half the year in California, where she has already assembled a group of strong and powerful women to lead her California women’s club.
Rashida Azizi wants to empower women and show them they can be powerful yet elegant no matter where they come from. She wants to serve as a public image and example for women all around the globe.
