Told from the perspective of professional Boxer, Lola, the professional is overjoyed with a loving relationship and her brand new bundle of joy. However, she is feeling the pressure of life and wants to hold on to her first true love, boxing. She is unsure she will be able to, but fights in and out of the ring to keep her dream alive. This is a feeling that resonates with many women who often are faced with the choice to put their new lives ahead of their careers. This film shows that maybe it doesn’t have to be an option, but an integration.

At the head of the film is big time producer and women’s empowerment enthusiast, Monica Floyd. Floyd is the CEO of True Vision Media Group, a company that specializes in gripping independent films. She is motivated by the incredible messages that many of the television shows and movies contain within them. Any of her projects will have audiences craving for more of her work after watching the screen. “Lola 2” will be no exception.
Floyd has been vocal about her support of her partner in crime, Antoine. He may have come with the script, but his pitch enticed Floyd and the feminist theme won her over. She stated that it was important to her that the movie did well because it would in turn do so much good. A story like “Lola 2” has rarely been told but is often experienced in various ways.
