Jindi, welcome to VENTS! Can you tell us about your latest single, HASSA (Remix)?

HASSA REMIX is a cross-cultural record that features “Kushman” from Kenya & MasterKraft From Nigeria with jindi coming from sudan bringing out a new “AfroDancehall/World” sound.
“Hassa” is Jindi’s first artist’s embark on Sudanese Arabic ,this song is a cross cultural record where jindi put out his energy in a Afro dancehall influenced beat “Hassa” which translates to “Right Now” is the hook that people sing along to whenever the hear the record , Jindi translates his love to his girl by giving her everything she wants .The song has been taking the regional airwaves by storm.
The Video was shot in kenya Where Kushman is from , directed by Vikta daniel.
What inspired you to remix the single?
In the past 2 years I’ve beenn working on different collabs with Fellow Afrian Artists , having a remix of the song was essential as i wanted to do more collabs this year and try to push the sound in different parts of the continent.
How did you come to collaborate with Kushman?
I’ve been pushing songs like “Superman” for a while in Kenya , when i came to do remix for “HASSA” Kushman definitely stood out with his unlique flow as one of the young pioneers of a genre called “Genge Tone” which is common in kenya.
Was MasterKraft an easy choice for production?
Meeting masterkraft was destined to be , When we met in Dubai where i’m based , I’ve come to learn alot , It was definitely a humbling and an inspiring experience for me.
What vibe can listeners catch from the remix?
Dance as much as you want , Party as much as you can.
It seems you have had a very colourful career so far; what has been the highlight for you?
Headlining a concert at Dubai Expo 2020 , Where I’ve dedicated the show as a tribute to my father who passed away in 2021.
What’s next for Jindi?
I’m Currently working on my Ep to be released in summer , Which will have a Sudanese Flavor with an african touch.
