Tim Lohmar began his career as an Assistant Circuit Attorney in St. Louis City where he served for two years. After that, he was appointed as the Circuit Attorney for Jefferson County, remaining until 2013. In 2013, Lohmar ran for the position of St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney and won. Today, Lohmar serves Missouri as the prosecuting attorney in St. Charles County. Violent crimes have decreased every year since Lohmar took office.
Since taking office, Lohmar has helped create several new programs to reduce crime and make the county safer. He also started a Veterans Treatment Court and a Mental Health Court. In 2017, Tim was named “Prosecutor of the Year” by the Missouri Association of Prosecuting Attorneys.
