Julian Kerins continues to roll. A globetrotter, touring and performing at festivals with The 1975, Fall Out Boy, and more, Kerins has also released YouTube videos displaying his immense talent, reaching his high-water mark this past year with over 5.5 million views on the platform. The NY singer/songwriter/instrumentalist’s efforts in composing, curating, and performing his music have paid off in the previous few months, as seen by the licensing and publishing contract he inked recently. With the guidance of Mark Schoenfeld (composer) and Marc Jackson (Music Director), Julian is honing in on crafting records for TV and Film.
A working musician, Julian makes an income mostly from traveling with his band (Michael Vetter on drums and Michael Schuler on bass), in addition to SYNC opportunities. He’s presently on a global tour with his band, recently performing alongside Stevie Wonder, Animals as Leaders, and more. In an era of internet drops and microwave media, boots on the ground touring will always be a primary lifeline for musicians and Julian is astutely aware of that.
Kerins continues to think big, bright lights and Broadway BIG as Julian and Mark are now pitching a play they co-wrote named “Music Boy” for both the stage and the screen. Julian has been able to rise above more adversity than most to get where he is, and is just as kind as he is talented, making him an easy guy to root for. Taking all of this into consideration, I expect 2023 to be a leap year for Julian Kerins, make sure you keep up with him across platforms.
