Australian Artist LORRREY Closed out 2022 with a Showcase of Versatility in His New Single Rewind Time

Australian Artist LORRREY gave us a different look inside his artistry with his final release of 2022, a single titled “Rewind Time” – a melodic, underground rap infused song that is giving us a completely new look inside just how far his versatility can stretch. While most of LORRREY’s music has previously shown us looks that show shades of The Kid LAROI, Post Malone and other melodic artists, this new single could be compared to the works of modern day rappers in the new age trap scene, such as Destroy Lonely and SoFaygo.

Performing over a futuristic instrumental, LORRREY performs three choruses and two verses, with a repeated bridge in both of the verses that leads into the very catchy hook that seems to be the main showcase of the song and inspiration for the song title. Within the first few seconds of listening we immediately hear – “If I could Rewind Time I wouldn’t go back baby” – setting the bar for a song that makes it abundantly clear LORRREY isn’t looking to rekindle the old relationship that he raps about.

In the music video, LORRREY sports a dark leather jacket and performs in a night-time environment, with bright lights surrounding him in a variety of visually appealing scenes. From what we’ve witnessed in this video, it looks like those bright lights will be just the beginning of many more to come in 2023 for the upcoming Australian artist.
