How to add more color to your wardrobe

Look carefully through your closet. Do you notice a lot of clothing in tan, black, white, and gray? Although this neutral wardrobe is reassuring, you probably don’t give your outfit much thought. Because they feel safe, you might just grab a few basic items of clothing. If you tend to wear neutrals, adding color to your wardrobe may seem like a difficult task, however, if you follow these four tips, you can brighten it up and feel more confident.

MerrJep.com prepared his post for you if you’re afraid of color or want to learn new ways to incorporate color into your wardrobe.

Start adding color to your wardrobe by starting with neutral pieces

Your closet probably already has a lot of neutral colors. White, black, and beige This is the way to begin building your capsule wardrobe, so there is nothing wrong with it. The beauty of these colors is that they typically complement virtually anything!

Colorful bags

Choose a color that matches the majority of your existing clothing. Purchasing a colorful bag that you have to constantly swap out for a black bag would be counterproductive. You might be surprised to learn that a lot of the clothes in your closet can be worn with certain colors. Monochromatic colors typically work well with shades of blush, burgundy, and some shades of green. Go intense, however pick astutely. With most of your outfits in hand, you want to be able to show off your bag.

High heels

Although it is almost a long time ago, we can still recall a time when we lived in heels! Despite the fact that we often toss on a stiletto for a night out on the town. Our favorite shoes have always been shoes. Any kind. Even though we don’t know what we’ll wear them with, we sometimes buy a colorful pair just because we love them.

We’re trying to be minimalists here, so buy all the bold shoes. However, in all seriousness, shoes are the ideal way to incorporate some color into your predominantly black ensemble. As you can see in the capsule wardrobe ideas below, adding color to your shoes can make a big difference. Shoes in red, yellow, blush, and burgundy are my personal favorites for neutral-colored footwear. Yellow shoes are the epitome of “a pop of color!”

Wear red on outings

Red is a seductive color that, in my opinion, should be in everyone’s wardrobe. Find a dress (or skirt) and stunning top in the right shade of red to add to your capsule wardrobe as essentials for date nights and night out with friends. You won’t regret a thing. Color can be teased with patterns

It is all about fun patterns on dresses, shirts, rompers, and even my sandals. Teach color through patterns. I’m loving bohemian patterns so much that I’m sporting more color than ever before. Even if this isn’t your style, one of the best ways to get used to color if you usually don’t like it is by incorporating it into patterns. An illustration of how I would incorporate color with a bohemian flair is provided below.

Make use of accessories to add color

Wearing colors as accessories is another straightforward way to incorporate them into your everyday look. If you can’t seem to let go of your neutral style and would rather go for a wild, bold pop of color in a handbag, jewelry, hairpiece, or other accessory, this is the style for you.

In addition to easily transitioning from day to night, colorful accessories can also be worn with you on more formal occasions without looking out of place.

Besides adult’s clothes, kid’s clothes or rroba per femije can be combined with colored accessories as well.

Don’t be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone. Color can make you feel alive, wild, and confident. Don’t be afraid to try new things. Even though I am aware that the number of items that you can include in your capsule wardrobe is limited, try not to get too caught up in boring outfits. Give yourself enough leeway to try new things and open your mind to the possibility of bringing some color into your life.
