Dundun’s Big 10 Championships Wins

Ryan Dundun and the Big 10 championship! One of the most exciting times of the year in many players’ hearts, even the fans go crazy! They say, to be the best, you have to beat the current best. To be one of the qualifying players must be a life changing experience. Hard work and dedication is the major role player here. Did you know that the NFL has 1 696 active players on their roster, 266 of them come out of the Big 10 Championship. The Big 10 championship is not to be taken lightly. 

What Is The Big 10 Championship?

The Big 10 Championship is basically an inter-university competition run by the Big 10 Conference every year. There were 10 universities that took part in the beginning more than 125 years ago, when it first started. Some universities left and some were added and the number is now around 14 partakers. They offer a variety of sports for both men’s and women’s divisions such as Track and Field (Indoor and Outdoor), Soccer, Football, Swimming, and Wrestling, etc. The conference competes in the NCAA division. 

Dundun’s Big 10 Championship Seasonal Bests

Ryan has really displayed a level of perseverance over the years with the Big 10 Championship. We can notably see an improvement over the years. Looking at the 2019 results, we were surprised to hear that Ryan had sustained a hamstring injury and was in recovery in the week leading up to the Big 10 Championship. The man is determined to reach his goals and become one of the great athletes that will be marked down in history. 

Let’s take a look at Ryan’s progress over the years:

2019

In the 2019 Season he achieved the following in both the outdoor and indoor divisions. 

Outdoor Competition Bests

Big Ten Championship 5/10: 9th in preliminary round in 400m hurdles with a time of 52.19

And won with a time of 53.31 in 400m hurdles. He was a member of winning relay team in 400m with a time coming in 41.12

Indoor Competition bests

Big Ten Championship 2/22-23 : Won distance medley relay as a member with a time of 9:44.62

2018 Season

In the 2018 season Ryan achieved the following in the outdoor division. 

Outdoor Competition Bests

Big Ten Championships 5/11 : 21st in 400m hurdles with a time of 1:05.19

2017 Season

In the 2017 season Ryan achieved the following in the outdoor division. 

Outdoor Competition Bests

  • Big Ten Championships 5/12-14 : 22nd time clocked 56:21

Now, if we take a look at these results, we can see how over the years Ryan has improved. This shows us that he is a player who displays dedication and determination to reach his goals. Ryan trains consistently, and maintains a healthy diet to keep fit and healthy. In the off season for track, Ryan cross-trains with soccer to maintain his fitness and improve his overall athleticism. The skills he developed in track  and soccer, compliment each other and help him excel in both sports. 

Ryan represented Wisconsin, in the West, in the Big 10 Championships and really made his university proud with his achievements over the years. Ryan has spent some time focusing on his studies, while continuing his training and keeping up his fitness levels so that he can continue to grow as an athlete. 

We are really looking forward to seeing Ryan Dundun grow as an athlete and watching his progression over the years. We are still going to see some high achievements coming from him in the near future. Watch this space!
