Snowfish are back with an infectious new offering ‘The Monster Upstairs.’ The album is a well flowing offering that showcases many different sides of the band. “The World is Burning Down” features thrashing drums, over-drive soaked guitars and aggressive vocals. Tracks such as “Maybe” are vulnerable offerings that feature soft landing vocals that work hand in glove with emotionally-penned lyrics.
Speaking further about the album, they say: “The Monster Upstairs album is multi-layered in that it represents a fight not only within your own head, but with the world around you. The Monster Upstairs represents a common enemy that we all face with a power above us wanting to make us small and useless. You have to stand up to that power and resist.”
Brothers Jordan, Solomon, and Kalan Rodrigues are the masterminds behind Snowfish. Inspired by some of the most innovative bands in the music industry, their sound pays homage to acts such as Muse, Radiohead, and The Beatles, creating a melting pot of edgy guitar riffs, hard-hitting drums and vocal melodies. This, mixed with their stunning visuals and engaging and energetic live performances, create a powerful partnership that will see them rise to the top.
