The National Day of the UAE is commemorated on 2 December which typically means a long weekend for Emiratis.

Perhaps the biggest and most anticipated Dubai winter event is the great Dubai Shopping Festival; hands down the best time of the year to get your hands on exclusive goods at the lowest possible prices. The shopper’s dream realized, the splurging festival involves out-of-this-world sales, discounts and prizes and has attracted millions of tourists to Dubai each and every year. This year, the mega event is slated to be held from 15 December 2022 to 29 January 2023.
All in all, the winter months allow for a very compelling case for a visit to Dubai and we do recommend finalizing your Dubai travel plans. However, the high season means that the amassing of crowds in key attractions or events will become inevitable.
