After suffering for almost 40 years with depression and then getting covid 19 long haulers disease in 2020 and if that wasn’t enough, in 2022 being diagnosed with Lambert Eaton Syndrome, a rare autoimmune disease, that alone would about push anyone off the edge. But for the man known as The Depressed Poet, Doc Dalton not so, because he was ordered to take a different path by his doctor and that is exactly what he did.
States Dalton, I almost went off that edge. Getting older, tired, shacky and not feeling well can play a lot of tricks on your mind. But thanks to a wonderful doctor who convinced him to have some fun and create a new project one more time to ease his mind just a bit, comes the show Unconditionally Dalton.
Over the years Doc has hosted 3 radio shows, co-hosted a pro-wrestling talk show and hosted a show called, Body Slam on Drugs, a show geared toward the youth to help educate them on the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse. The show aired for 3 years and was done in association with a North Jersey Police Department. But because of the depression, Dalton one day got up and walked away from it all and never looked back and we mean he literally, got up and walked out the door and said it’s over.
But now at the age of 68 a new production has started called, Unconditionally Dalton, a 10-minute show that will for now air on its own YouTube channel. I hope I can say this says Dalton, this show is being done 100% for Shit’s and Giggles. We will never win an award for this show, and we don’t care. Our awards are for, foolishness, laughter, stupidity, and anything else you want to add.
Done with three long time friends director Patrick Muricki, photographer Joseph LePera and producer Harold Edgar, the foursome will be off on a journey to who knows where. Within the show we will have a few characters like, Life with Mickey, the adventures of a nutty old man, El Max with Mariachi Madness along with people sending in signs, questions and who knows what else. There will always be a few positive messages within the show along with a Prayer at the end. Say’s Doc, we are getting older, and we need all the Prayers we can get.
