Dani Thompson is the CEO and Founder of DNT Entertainment. She has a boutique artist development, management, music marketing, and public relations firm. She is a self-made entrepreneur, an artist development and music promotion expert, a director, a photographer, and a talent manager with a diversified skill set that has broken down industry barriers. Since the formal launch of DNT Entertainment in 2014, Thompson has mentored and assisted in the career growth of dozens of social influencers and indie musicians.
She has always had a love and enthusiasm for music. She knew from an early age that she wanted to work in the entertainment sector. Her favorite toy as a child was and still is the karaoke machine. She claimed that watching TRL on MTV in the 1990s and early 2000s was the first time she understood her passion for music was more than just a passing fancy and that it was a professional path she wanted to pursue. She was curious if she wanted to work in music as a musician or host, but she knew she wanted to do one of the two.
As the former frontwoman of a promotional band for Fenders’ Kids Rock Free® program in the early 2000s, Dani based her business on the knowledge and skill set she gained throughout her high school and college years as an artist. She began her career as a manager, publicist, and music photographer after graduating from Cal State Fullerton in 2010. Her success as an independent entrepreneur led to the founding of DNT Entertainment in 2014.
Dani has worked with over 35 recording artists, actors, and reality TV stars over the last decade, including but not limited to: ABC’s Rising Star Top 10 Finalist Macy Kate, Director/Producer Kurt Hugo Schneider, Sam Tsui, Sean Kingston, Duets Finalist Jason Farol, Kyle Wesley & David Batt, Maddy Vance, Justin Coppolino, Lauren Black, and many other successful independent and signed artists. She is the major face and identity of DNT Entertainment, and she is currently giving A&R consulting services to various artists and many Multi-Platinum music producers in Orange County and Los Angeles.
Dani most recently aided Dean Lewis with publicity for his “Sad Boy Winter Summer Tour” in 2022. A music video she directed for Emilia Vaughn, “Sunflower,” was broadcast on MTV’s Spankin New, AXS TV’s Music High 5, Loop TV, and Nick Music. Dani Thompson’s company DNT Entertainment is the major marketing and public relations arm of Thomas Barsoe’s record label OC Hit. Dani’s accomplishments reflect her hard work and dedication.
Dani Thompson founded her company on a love of music and a desire to help people. Her mission is to empower independent artists and innovators by providing them with the knowledge and resources necessary to maintain creative control over their projects and ownership of their music.
