We are lucky enough to talk with the talented Trae. We are loving your unique sound. Tell us a little about yourself.

Thanks for having me! I guess I’m a pretty normal guy outside of the fact that in the past two years I’ve either been jumping out of planes for the Army or in a recording studio with Sean Rogers. In all seriousness, I’m just your average guy that’s really passionate about music and telling a story.

We hate putting anyone in a box but how would you define your sound?

I would describe my sound as modern country or pop country. I’ve got a lot of rnb, soul, and rock influences that really merge into the idea of what country or western music is.

Any dream collaborations come to mind?

It would be awesome to work with Morgan Wallen one day, or Jason Aldean!

What has been the biggest challenge you have overcome as a musician?

Just finding that balance between music, the Army, and my family. Each one wants all my live attention and they get equally jealous!

New music on the horizon?

Yes! We are releasing “I GIVE, YOU TAKE” on 12.2.22- head over to my Instagram and preorder it on iTunes and presave it on Spotify. That’s going to help get my music out there to more people. You know the algorithms and such lol

You can find me everywhere @traetaylormusic and you can listen to my music on all platforms but I’m really loving my Spotify community right now! They show the must love haha but maybe we can change that?!
