“Dat Good” follows the release of Chingy’s vulnerable jam, “Can’t Blame Me,” which was exclusively premiered by People.com. “Can’t Blame Me” served as the first single from the hip-hop artist’s forthcoming album, Chinglish.
“The inspiration behind ‘Dat Good’ comes from the intimacy of being with a woman. Both of us – male and female – innerstand our sexuality and combine our minds to create a journey through touch, smell, sense and taste. A journey to please each other physically, mentally and spiritually,” Chingy shared.
2023 marks the 20th anniversary of Chingy’s debut album Jackpot and the smash single “Right Thurr,” which recently landed front and center in the opening scenes of the Netflix original film, Don’t Look Up, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchett, Jonah Hill and Ariana Grande.
Chingy is currently embarking on The Millennium Tour: Turned Up!, bringing his high energy show to reputable arenas such as Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York, N.Y., MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nev., Kia Forum in Los Angeles, Calif. and many more.
