Crypto Transaction Pending: Coinbase Transaction Pending

Are you having transaction issues such as transaction delays? Delayed transactions can be quite frustrating. And it is usually due to a few factors. You get to receive transactions that are coming in to your account almost immediately, but it shows as Pending. And it remains that way till adequate network confirmations have taken place.

The number varies, depending on the asset and can be found in the individual asset data in our Asset Directory. As soon as the transaction is confirmed, it will show as Completed. This means that the transaction can’t be reversed and your can now withdraw your funds.

Why Do Coinbase Crypto Transactions Pend?

Coinbase runs its unique digital currency nodes which communicates directly with the rest of the network. So when you initiate a transaction, we broadcast it to the rest of the network so it can be confirmed.

Our nodes may lose sync with the rest of the network for short periods of time, when this happens, transactions to remain Pending longer than normal. This delay usually does not take long, the transaction will eventually go through normally.

There are some instances however when transactions aren’t accepted by the rest of the network and therefore are never considered to be confirmed.

4 Common Reasons for Pending Coinbase Crypto Transactions
