Nayan Raina, singer/songwriter/composer is on a whole another level when it comes to his artistry. Originally from India and currently a native of LA, his music is multi genre. He songwriting is unique. His four song EP ‘Besame’ is perfect example of his fluid songwriting. This EP will take you on multiple rides with Latin Pop, RnB, HipHop and Rock music renditions and Sex Fiend is one of those. It’s a Rock/Pop composition that will make you play the song on repeat. His talent has rightfully earned him a loyal fan base.
Just like the language of love, the language of music is universal and to be able to create something that can hit the nerve to what your audience wants.. you definitely have a good start and Nayan certainly has that amazing sense. Especially in the modern world where music is digitalized. Nayan brought the house down in 2009 with his rendition of Freddie Mercury’s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ as he auditioned live at the Orpheum Theater in DownTown LA on NBC talent show ‘America’s Got Talent’ in front of celebrity judges Sharon Osbourne, David Hasselhoff and Piers Morgan. He wasn’t selected but this drove him to go at it harder as he continued his musical journey. In 2016 Kiss FM celebrity DJ Bryant Corbitt watched his music video Butter on YouTube and aired Butter on 104.7 Kiss FM along with the likes of Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Calvin Harris and The Weeknd.. to name a few. This was a great turning point for him and he has never looked back.
Nayan’s new song ’Sex Fiend’ is a musical interpretation of the artist expressing his true love for his lady who is only interested in lusting after him… hence the name of the song – ’Sex Fiend’ His pleading vocal tones are a pleasure for the ears.. The guitar sounds will add the ‘it factor’ as soon as we hit the chorus, making this song ‘next level’. The lyrics are extremely relatable and so ‘on pointe’. The melody is super catchy. The ending is a nail in the coffin with his freestyle rap rendition.
