TELL US A LITTLE BIT MORE ABOUT YOURSELF ?
What difficulties did you feel most when you arrived in Lisbon/Portugal what brought you To this country?
The difficulties I had when I arrived here, were the lack of communication in the Portuguese Language, difficulty to find my artistic world, to find people who have the same vision as me! For example, I brought the reality of my country, and the reality of my culture, to prove my potential to the whole world. Afrobeat or Afropop is a musical genre that results from a mixture of traditional Nigerian music, so Nigeria is one of the African countries that most valued my style of music.
WHEN DID YOU LEAVE AFRICA?
How old were you when you left Africa?
I left my country at the age of 17.
WHAT ARE YOUR INSPIRATIONS?
My inspiration is more the artists from the 70’s like Fela Kuti, the man who internationalized the Afrobeat, the first man who gave that name to the style that I do, other than that, my inspirations are Bob Marley, Baaba Mal, Manu Dibango.
