J Aktive shows off his charming side in a new picturesque music video for “The One,” which comes off his latest album Bad Luv. The Los Angeles-based musician has been buzzing with excitement ever since the release of the record that received international acclaim and praise from a multitude of renowned artists like Janet Jackson, Mario Lopez, Deion Sanders, among many others.
Directed by Josh Abia and starring Janice Ecles, the two minute video is produced by Kayla Young, who shot the visuals in a cinematic way at a theme park located on the coastline. At first, the clip portrays the pair in a lovey-dovey mood, having fun riding the merry-go-round and doing what couples in love do on a date. But the story takes an unexpected turn as it progresses, shocking the viewers with its bombshell ending.
“The One” is a sweet and delightful track that shows off the producer’s endearing and mushy side, but at the same time boasting his musicality and proficiency in mixing Neo Soul, Rap, Pop, and Hip-Hop sounds together. J Aktive brings individuality and distinctiveness to urban music by flaunting tunefulness and lyricality, “Cutie little shawty/ Ride it like a Harley/ Come to my party/ Found myself the one (Found myself the one)/ Found myself the one (Found myself the).”
2022 has no doubt been J Aktive’s year. The Hip Hop artist continues to surprise his listeners after the release of the viral track “Pist Off,” which garnered over 16 Million views across various platforms.
