How to improve your productivity today and in just 60 minutes by Rizwan Ahmed CPA

We all strive to increase our productivity to one degree or another. We aim for many things and want to do many projects and realize ideas etc. Achieving this takes less time than you think. Discover how to increase your productivity – in just 60 minutes:

Be conscious of the time it takes you to complete each task. Be careful when you start them and especially when you complete them. Use a timer or chronometer that helps you focus on work during the time allotted for the task. In this way, you commit yourself to meeting the deadlines, for example: “I will spend 30 minutes on this report” or “I will not attend this meeting for more than 20 minutes” etc.

While it may seem ironic, taking time for yourself is important for recovery to be more productive in the long run. Switching off for five minutes is enough to catch your breath and then deal with the task at hand. This little habit is a big step towards productivity because it reduces stress and avoids frustration.

When we face a tough day, the best way to face it is knowing that our efforts will be rewarded. The best way is to review our past accomplishments and think about everything we’ve accomplished so far, giving you the strength to do your best.

The most effective way to take the initiative is to put your intentions into words. Tell someone what you’re going to do and show your commitment to doing it. Being assertive about our goals helps us avoid procrastination because it defines the steps to follow and encourages us to make the decision to execute.

Sometimes we need a small detail to motivate us, no matter how small. A prize to reward us for a job well done or a special effort. Treat yourself to something special every now and then, a surprise gift to brighten your day can be as simple as a good dinner when you get home, a short coffee break, etc.

There’s nothing easier than rearranging our office desk to make us feel more productive. In addition to maintaining cleanliness and order, it is also important that we feel comfortable where we spend many hours a day. Check that you are comfortable and that you meet the standards for your workplace, which are for your health and efficiency.

Drinking something several times a day reduces our feelings of exhaustion and benefits the body and mind. Water is best, but you can keep yourself hydrated with other beverages, such as tea or coffee, without overindulging in stimulants. Water is the best option.
