How to deal with a slump and feel motivated.

Everyone goes through a slump when it comes to getting work done or having a productive day ahead. Sometimes you just get tired and feel demotivated from continuing with your everyday productivity cycle. When you go through that stage, the first thing you do is identify the reasons why. It could be you are overworked, going through medical issues or mental health. Once you find the root of your problems it becomes easier for you to understand and solve it. Try to unwind and destress your way out of it as you slowly delve into your daily routine. 

Write on a journal or planner

Writing is therapeutic and gives clarity to your thoughts as you jot it down in your journal. Planning your tasks for the next day, helps you to keep your priorities in check and helps you perform your tasks efficiently one after the other. You are your biggest problem solver. Writing down the issues you are dealing with, whether personal or vocational will help you understand how to approach it better. Listen to music/podcasts

Eating good food can truly elevate and put you in a good mood.

Read a book

Reading is considered to be one of the best hobbies one can include in their day to day activity. Reading improves your focus, memory, vocabulary and also helps in communication skills. It broadens your horizons and gives you a different perspective which will help you in your work and relationships. Reading gives you valuable life lessons and knowledge. It reduces stress and improves your mental health. If you seek comfort and an escape from reality, pick up a book from any genre that interests you and delve into another world. Read self help books written by great teachers and authors and biographies of great leaders and icons to feel motivated and inspired.
