British songwriter and producer Ronny Shome’s latest singles have just explosive energy. Check out “Breakthrough” and “Get Up”, two bright songs that speak on equality, uniting as humanity, and on being resilient in the face of problems that will undoubtedly arise. “Breakthrough” has a very distinct, almost anthem-like vibe, and “Get Up” feels more like an electronic dance music mixed with other genre elements.
“‘Get up’ was inspired by my social life at University,” Ronny Shome said in an interview. “Whenever I went out to nightclubs with friends, etc, these were the happiest times for me and I realised that dancing away to good music with good friends, allowed me an escapism and helped me to endure more stressful times e.g. university exams and otherwise.” Check out the full interview right here.
