Aadi- How do you feel about the progress of your career so far?
Prince-Kadeem Quick- “It feels like all of last year was leading up to 2022 being the real start of my career,” “I think it’s easy to look at my career so far and think it was just this instant success, but really I’ve been trying to get here since I was 18 I am so grateful for anyone who listens to my artists music and all the support I’ve gained. I’m having a blast man! I’m so looking forward to 2023. I’m hopefully having my artists playing in more festivals, and branching out my creative team and working with people I’ve looked up to for a while now.
Aadi- that’s amazing to hear. I know a music career can be fast or slow pace especially with high competition in the music industry nowadays. That’s good that you and your artists are out there giving the highest quality of work. Speaking of artists, how do you feel about Yajaira Eve and working with her? I did little research. She is the youngest out of your group?
Prince-Kadeem Quick- Haha yes you are correct Yajaira Eve is the youngest out of all of us. She is a 22 year old Prodigy but also one of the most talented individuals I ever met. She is just pure talent. Her singing vocals are amazing and she plays multiple musical instruments so she is unstoppable right now. I believe her only flaw is that she sucks at Mario-Kart! Hahaha Just Kidding she just can’t beat me in Mario-Kart ;). All and all it’s a real blessing to see her music stream high on multiple musical platforms. In a short time, she’s also established herself as one of the most consistent artists in the crowded scene of indie pop artists on the come-up.
Aadi- Oh I definitely agree Yajaira Eve has great voice I listen to one of her singles called “lover like me” gives me that late 80s/ early 90s vibe. One last question what’s your favorite song and why?
Prince-Kadeem Quick- Michael Jackson “Rock With You” It’s my favorite song by the king of pop. I love the melody and just vibe of the song in general. That is definitely a timeless classic that will be on the top of my playlist. Yajaira Eve song- Smile
