Tender Glue, the moniker of Tom Gluewicki, has come a long way. With his first memory of music coming from fixing a broken guitar at the age of twelve years-old, he has now developed into a songwriter that can pen down emotional and infectious tunes.
His latest offering ‘Simple Boys’ is a summertime bop. With a classic indie heart, this track features heavenly guitar riffs, tight drums and a raw vocal that creates a catchy tune that is destined to end up on your summer playlists. His raw vocals feature well-penned lyrics that discuss ‘simple boys.’
Chatting to us about this in further detail he shares: “This one is kind of a funny take on the immaturity of some men – not in a derogatory way. At the end of the day, all we ever need is love, even ‘Simple Boys’.”
On September 25th, 2015, Tender Glue released his debut EP titled, “Wait For Steady Light”. After several years of creating original music, this album came in the form of raw recordings, composed with minimal equipment, using the resources Tom had in his home. It’s clear to see that he has gone from strength to strength from there, with his track ‘With You Here’ gaining over 20,000 streams. Tender Glue releases music under his own label Don’t Label Me Records.
