Sometimes Y, the dynamic new rock collaboration from superstars Yelawolf and Shooter Jennings, has announced a headlining show at Nashville’s legendary Ryman Auditorium for Thursday, November 17th. Tickets for the special show, also featuring Bones Owens, Tony Martinez, and Revelry and an original Yelawolf set featuring DJ Devin Hype, go on sale to the public this Friday, August 5th at 10am CT with artist presale tickets available now – CLICK HERE for more info and to purchase. Sometimes Y, who released their acclaimed self-titled debut studio album in March, made their live performance debut in Los Angeles this spring, electrifying audiences at The Rainbow Bar & Grill’s 50th Anniversary celebration and The Viper Room. In addition to the Ryman, the band has a handful of other upcoming shows including a date opening for Lynyrd Skynyrd in September and a performance this Friday at the Iron Horse Saloon during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. See below for all upcoming show dates.
“I’m honored to share music history with the Ryman,” shares Yelawolf. “So many legendary shows have touched this stage. Now it’s time to put my name on the wall…and I’m not leaving quietly. Hopefully they’ll invite us back…there goes the neighborhood!”
In addition to announcing the Ryman show, the band has revealed that their self-titled debut studio album is now available physically on a limited-edition vinyl set, which will arrive wax-sealed, numbered, and autographed by Yelawolf. Sometimes Y – available via Yelawolf’s label Slumerican – has been hailed everything from “one of the best rock albums of the year” and “the most important record of the year” to “a near masterpiece.” Since its release, the 10-track collection has amassed over 26 million total global streams across all digital platforms. Produced by two-time GRAMMY Award winner Jennings and recorded at L.A.’s famed Sunset Sound Studios, Sometimes Y is highlighted by the singles “Make Me A Believer,” “Rock & Roll Baby,” “Jump Out The Window” and “Radio.” The songs off the album have drawn comparisons to everyone from The Killers, Kings of Leon, U2, and The Strokes to Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, Aerosmith, and Arcade Fire, and have been featured on a variety of key rock playlists across Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon and YouTube.
