Maggie Jenson’s Transformational Mission to Help Addicts in Recovery

“You don’t need to live in recovery forever. You can live recovered!” – Maggie Jenson

Maggie Jenson is a recovered alcohol addict and is out to help people who are still struggling with addictive drinking behavior. Maggie targets addicts who don’t vibe well with AA and adult children who grew up in alcoholic families, who, in most cases, grow up to become alcoholics or marry one. In addition, Maggie works with professional high-performers who have been using alcohol to reduce work-related stress but now find that they’ve lost control and are afraid of the stigma of “addict/high functioning alcoholic.”

Maggie observes that addicts can recover fully and don’t have to live the recovery journey forever. She has been there before but is currently living a recovered life!

Maggie grew up with an alcoholic mother and lived a sober life until she was 13, when her older brother, an adult child of an alcoholic and drug addict, committed suicide.  Maggie could not come to terms with her brother’s death, which resulted in alcohol abuse. Within no time, she started to struggle with addictive and dangerous drinking patterns. Maggie would accompany her mum to Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) fellowships, where they were constantly reminded that “addiction is a disease; it’s permanent. Once an alcoholic, always an alcoholic.” Thus, she never bothered to control her drinking because she felt hopeless and believed she had a disease.

After 15 years of addiction, she decided to try something different. “During the first round of quarantines (March 2020–July 2020), I created my own “program” and intuitively utilized the Laws of Achievement and the Science of Success to take my mind off of the problem and put it on the image I wished to create: healthy, focused, energetic, intellectual, forward-focused! I stopped thinking of what I didn’t want and started thinking of what I did want, then went to work every day to make one small accomplishment,” shares Maggie.

To her surprise, the program worked for her, and that’s how she transformed from being an addict to establishing a health concept called Magnify Progressive Wellness, a one-stop shop for wellness that emphasizes mental health. Her concepts are foreign to most people struggling with addiction as they are programmed to root into their issues and punish themselves, fearing relapse but giving alcohol full power. Her mission is to transform addiction recovery protocol completely, and each of her one-on-one clients has achieved successful results since working with her and the Magnify Method.

Maggie believes she is unique, which is the reason she stands out in the industry. Her viewpoints are completely polarizing compared to typical “sober coaches.” Maggie doesn’t focus on alcohol and believes that you can reprogram your habits and be a “normal” person again if you want. She implies that you can go from being “addicted” to being able to drink occasionally and do it in a healthy, “normal” manner.

“My book is in Barnes and Noble and has surpassed This Naked Mind as the best ‘quit lit’ book available! Telling my story and inspiring people who have lost all hope and feel they are too damaged to make anything else of their lives”, Maggie enthusiastically remarks.

Maggie is over the moon to have overcome her addictive alcoholic tendencies and produced positive results for 100% of her one-on-one clients, which amounts to 37 people since launching the program at the onset of the pandemic. Maggie hopes to feature on Oprah and On-Time Magazine.
