Kimber have a strong sound that has been crafted out of their roots. A mix of working class, northern and DIY make up their identity and from that their signature sound has been inspired. Their latest offering ‘Think I Know The Answer’ is a perfect example of this. Driving drums, heavenly vocals and an infectious mix of synths that ebb and flow between each other are just some of the ingredients in their sound.
Speaking on the track they say: “Think I know the answer is about learning to live with loss, while trying to stay present and ignore the noise around you.”
Now in 2022, Kimber has recently signed to Safe Suburban Home Records (whose previous roster has included The Early Mornings and T Truman) and has new music ready to share with the world- including last month’s single ‘A Melancholy Spring,’ we think they’ll take it to the very top.
