Being born with Down syndrome disability and battling with acute myelogenous leukemia at the age of 3. Tell us something about your childhood.
My childhood was probably very different from other kids but it was still good. I went to school, had a lot of friends and my mom made sure I had lots of fun whenever I could! I got to do some pretty cool things growing up.
30 surgeries, also being diagnosed with Down syndrome at birth and at the age of three years you battled with acute myelogenous leukemia. There are many children, young and old, currently facing life altering medical diagnosis. What words of encouragement do you have for people currently going through this trauma?
Never give up and enjoy every moment! Keep pushing through and take one day at a time.
There are always people who influence you or stand side by side in difficult times. Who supported you most when you were facing altering medical diagnosis and illness.
Being born with different disabilities and going through 30 surgeries over the time. How did you shatter the glass ceiling and start working as a model? Tell us something about your journey.
My mom was always there for me and when I asked to be a dancer, she made it happen. When I wanted to start modeling, she made it happen. She guided me every step of the way and helped me with all my dreams.

How challenging is it for a person with certain disabilities to work as a model? What were the difficulties you faced while starting your career?
Sometimes it’s hard for others to see that models look all ways. All shapes, sizes, and abilities. I still get mean comments on my social media and stuff saying I cannot be a model because I have Down syndrome but I know that is not true. I keep pushing forward!
Let’s talk about the first days of your career, you were the first girl with Down syndrome to work for American Girl. How did it feel to be the first?
It was awesome! I loved modeling for American Girl and had so much fun on set, meeting new friends and just bringing awareness. And of course I had a few dolls of my own already so that was fun too!
There are many turning points in life, what was the most notable turning point in your life? What were the factors that influenced you to become an actor? Also tell us something about your first project.
I guess moving from Colorado to California was a big one. I have been here for a year now and feel like I’m starting on a new path of really taking my career seriously. I’m so excited for the future! My first project was Pure Country 2 when I was 5. Dean Cain picked me up and carried me around on set. My mom said I loved him!
You have overcome a lot of health challenges to get where you are today. So your fans and followers want to know what unique and memorable things have occurred during your career.
So many things… health wise, leukemia and spine fusion surgery have been my biggest ones. In my career, I think just working on different sets, meeting different people and I LOVE making TikToks with stars. It’s kind of my thing. I have some great ones!
What milestones do you predict for your new movie “The SON” that is projected to be out in theaters in 2023?
I’m SO excited to start filming! I play the role of Sara and this film has such a great story line with a wonderful message for all audiences. Sara is such a fun character and I can’t wait to bring her to life. I think it’s going to really touch some hearts.
Many people enjoy life living away from the media and cameras, while others appear to love the limelight. Do you enjoy being famous?
I actually love it. The first time someone stopped me on the street and said, “I follow you on Instagram! Can I have a picture!” I was so excited!!! For now at least it’s super fun!
There are certain things people want to change in life if they could go back in time. If you could go to a point in your past, is there anything you would change?
No, my past has made me who I am and I love me!
What projects do you have coming up next that you are really looking forward to? And where do you see your career unfolding in the near future?
Hopefully lots more films and maybe a show. My ultimate dream would be a regular spot on Young and the Restless, so if you know someone there, let them know! I love acting!
You are a model, actor and an influencer: Between modeling, acting and being an influencer, is there any role you are more passionate about?
I really love them all for different reasons. I hope I never have to choose! I do love being an advocate over everything.
You are a public figure and social media influencer, tell us something that we would not know about you, from looking at your portfolio and that might surprise your fans.
I REALLY want to be a singer and wish I could add that to my talents. But… I don’t think it’s in my future. Ha!
As a model, actor and influencer, how difficult is time management? How do you organize your daily schedule?
Thankfully my mom keeps my calendar for me still. I wake up in the morning and text her and ask what we are doing for the day. I definitely know when big things are coming up though. I go with the flow and enjoy it all!
There are always some people who criticize your work, personal life and almost everyone in this industry has faced criticism at any point in time. How do you handle it?
Yeah. People like to be mean, especially behind a phone screen. I am pretty good about blowing them off. I know who I am.
Besides working as a model, actor and public speaker what else do you enjoy doing in your personal life? For instance many people like to travel or play sports. Tell us something about your hobbies and daily life routine.
I love to dance and was a competition dancer for many years. I also love to go to the beach, hang out with my boyfriend, or just hang with my family and watch movies. I also enjoy visiting my friends in Colorado as often as possible. I miss them!
