Jeyaia turns up the heat with official music video for latest single ‘No Love’

Sydney based soul singer songwriter Jeyaia has dropped her first official music video with a unique artistic visual for her latest hit single ‘No Love’.

Since her debut single ‘Rising’ topped the UK’s Music Week Top 30 Commercial Pop charts earlier in the year, Jeyaia’s fans have been excitedly waiting for the next release.

‘No Love’ is the second single from Australia’s hottest emerging artist, bringing the classic 90’s R&B with chill beats and buttery soft, smooth tones from an undeniably talented vocalist.

Since the track’s release, ‘No Love’ has received international radio play alongside placement on Spotify R&B and soul playlists; as Jeyaia steals hearts with her tender lyrics and addictive melodies.

After teasing sneak previews of the character development on socials and the ‘Making Of’ video, Jeyaia has finally dropped the fully animated official music video on her YouTube channel, with an Anime-meets-Disney portrayal of the story of heartbreak and lessons learned.

With retro illustration and comic-esque character design, the video takes us back to a seemingly simpler time, when ghosting would have been defined as an unreturned call on a pink flip phone.

Jeyaia describes the meaning behind the animated video as an expression of art:

“I love blending art with music. I wanted to create a nostalgic visual that evokes the complexity of human emotion with the simplicity of an expression. The illustrations are delicate and emotional and the video holds little clues which allow for interpretation by the viewer, of the deeper meaning behind my story – and their own.”

‘No Love’ is out now on all major streaming platforms.
