Natalie Claro Drops An Adrenaline-Pumping Track

Cracked Pepper by Natalie Claro is a high-energy guitar-filled rock and roll fused track that explains her experience with people thinking she’s on something, and how she kind of loves it. Feeling frustrated with life’s encounters and how “Everything you buy uses bloody hands for currency” and how “I just wanna do good” becomes the fuel she thrives off of and doesn’t even really need anything to be that hyper. The song’s tempo, drilling guitars, and a bass line that could shred a sheet of paper. The mix and instrumentation are high quality and then you combine her vocals, and you have a really powerful end result. The song is a rocket ship and has all the elements of a song that will get you wanting to drive recklessly and screech some tires to release the energy this song will undoubtedly rise to your surface.

Claro may be an artist in your eyes, but looking beyond that we discovered a producer, a songwriter, and a multi-instrumentalist. Not just an artist, but a creator of all her content, from the bud of a song to performing every instrument, to producing and directing her music videos.  Each song seems to have a powerful message behind it.

We asked her about her latest release and how Cracked Pepper came about. Claro explains “This song incorporates the energy of a live show, as it was inspired by an instance of a fan saying my performances are so lively I “must be on cocaine.” When writing the lyrics, I considered what feelings fuel me to go over the top with everything I’m passionate about.”

There is a slight difference in the production of this song in comparison to the others, and while she normally produces her music in her apartment, and travels to the studio to track drums, “Cracked Peppervocals were recorded at Spotify’s Noteable studio in Nashville.

Sharing fans with artists like Paramore, Queen, and Charlotte Sands, I think we can say we are going to be hearing and seeing a lot more from her. She has already shared stages with notable names like Plain White T’s, Aaron Gillespie, HalfNoise, and more.
