Elle King Joins Dax on Crossover Hit “Dear Alcohol”

Budding talent Dax has reimagined his breakout hit, “Dear Alcohol” with a feature from Grammy-nominated multi-platinum artist Elle King. The song has connected with audiences and fans and has steadily grown, ultimately charting and crossing genres. Elle King teased her verse on Tik Tok as part of the Open Verse Challenge, and today, the song is officially available for purchase and streaming, via RECORDS. Listen here.

It’s not often a Hip Hop artist crosses into Country, yet Dax has accomplished just that. While not a country song, “Dear Alcohol” is poignant and continues to genuinely resonate on a larger scale while bending genres. Since release, fans have been posting comments to share their own touching and personal stories, in response to the personal and introspective track.

Dax has been commanding attention with his streams, sales and ability to connect with his blatant, musical storytelling. To date, he has garnered half a billion streams on his collective repertoire, while this current single has amassed 25+ million streams and approaching 20 million views on YouTube. “Dear Alcohol” also appeared on numerous Billboard charts, Billboard Digital Song Sales, Country Digital Song Sales, Hot Country Songs, Emerging Artists, and landed on a multitude of Spotify charts, including Viral 50 (US + Global) in addition to other countries.
