Ninjas And Warriors On ‘American Ninja Warrior’

American Ninja Warrior made obstacle courses fun without relying on goofs and errors. Instead of being about people failing – which to be fair can be fun – it was about impressive, but non-famous, athletic folks trying to concur a daunting course. It was gripping, and it was successful. Many people were put to the test by American Ninja Warrior. However, how many of them were really ninjas or warriors?

As far as we know, the answer is none. That seems like a waste. Let’s get speculative here. If certain notable ninjas or warriors were able to tackle the obstacle course at the center of American Ninja Warrior, how would they do?

For starters, let’s tick a warrior box and be done with it. Ultimate Warrior would not have done well at this. He was strong and physically impressive, but he was not exactly fleet of foot. Modern wrestlers are much better equipped to tackle an obstacle course. Warrior may have been a WWF champion, but he would not have been an American Ninja Warrior champion.

Could Xena, Warrior Princess handle it? She is borderline a superhero. Now, having to face a modern obstacle course may seem strange to her, but we think she can manage it. Xena would tackle the obstacle course with gusto.

When it comes to ninjas, there are four we think of. Well, there are seven, but the ninjas of Three Ninjas are children. They don’t have a chance. We speak, of course, of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. They were all trained by Splinter, but their skills aren’t necessarily equal. We figure Michelangelo spaces out and slips up. You have to pay full attention on that course. Donatello does machines, and is the obstacle course like a machine? It’s not his machine, though. That might throw him off. Donatello is…a no. Sorry, Donny! However, Leonardo and Raphael would both succeed. They wouldn’t let themselves lose.

They might be the only ones, though. Those Lego ninjas from The Lego Ninjago Movie? Yeah, they don’t have the leaping ability necessary.
