Pop singer-songwriter Sheyda has released her new music video for her latest single “Woah” exclusively on YouTube today, Friday, April 29th. Shot in Nashville in an abandoned Victorian-style house, the official video provides a haunting backdrop for the sultry track, showcasing emotionally charged choreography from celebrity dancer/choreographer and So You Think You Can Dance star, Joy Spears.

Written by Sheyda along with heavy hitting songwriters, Stephony Smith (The Chicks, Shania Twain, Kenny Chesney, Reba McEntire, Trisha Yearwood) and Jodi Marr (Dolly Parton, Carole King, Rita Wilson), the fast-paced music video for “Woah” encapsulates the euphoria that comes with giving into desire and the overwhelming power of love. Sheyda entrances viewers with her captivating vocal performance and moody imagery from start to finish, cutting to the talented and sultry choreography performed by Spears and Josh Jordan.
“We had the idea for this music video as soon as we finished the production on the song,” said Sheyda. “My director, Adam Jones, took it to the next level by bringing in pros Joy Spears and Josh Jordan to bring the dancing to life. I sat there watching them dance while we were filming and almost got emotional seeing people get so inspired by the song. It was amazing to see what they were able to do.”
This month, Sheyda made her TV debut on NBC’s Nashville affiliate, Today In Nashville, where she shared an exclusive live performance of her previous single release, “Big Heartbreak.” With over 1 million YouTube views from previous videos such as 2021 singles “Lungs” and “Wish I Could Want You”, Sheyda has showcased her knack for high-quality production and a creative vision that places her at the forefront of independent artists. With songs that speak to tough subjects, such as her debut single, “The Dragon,” Sheyda has proved she’s not one to stray away from timely and crucial subjects.
