Today, Parquet Courts share two remixes of “Plant Life;” a standout track from last year’s beloved Sympathy For Life. Previously available as a physical 12” exclusive, today marks the first widespread release of Yu Su’s Transient Version and the Peak Wifi (a.k.a. Austin Brown and Bryce Hackford) Vibes Mix. Of her remix, Yu Su explains, “I knew I’d be going for a ‘90s heavy chugger vibe remix the first time I heard ‘Plant Life.’ No accident my freshly assembled band will be premiering its energy exchange with PC in New York City!”

Great fun to work with Austin on another contribution to stylistic diversity on the dance floor.” Later this week, Parquet Courts will begin their massive North American and European tour, beginning at Boston’s Royale followed by two nights at New York’s Brooklyn Steel. The tour extends into the summer, and will see Parquet Courts perform select festivals including the recently announced Pitchfork Music Festival.
