Inspired by getting tossed around in the surf of the Big Island of Hawaii, today’s premiere for The Shift’s new single “The Wave” is a song about overcoming obstacles and facing your fears.
This reggae-infused island song will carry you through the ebb and flow of life, telling the story of ups and downs that so many of us can relate to. This song doesn’t subscribe to the typical verse/chorus layout; rather it flows like the tide, rising up in a crescendo and falling back into serenity, only to build into another wave of energetic rhythm. Featured on this track; Jus Wright, a Reggae artist from Santa Rosa with ties to Hawaii, contributes his lyrics and vocal talents.
