Lost Ark, a popular PC action MMORPG, was first released in South Korea in 2019 and has since gained widespread attention. It was only recently that it was officially released in the United States and Europe. It has quickly risen to become one of the most popular games in the history of Steam, with more than 1.3 million active players just last weekend alone. It is currently the most played game on the service, surpassing other long-running classics such as Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Dota 2 in terms of player numbers. In addition, with so many people playing, you can bet there are plenty of Steam reviews for the game.
The majority to buy lost ark gold reviews have been positive in general. However, as the Diablo-like MMO has continued to struggle with long server queues in Europe, the game’s negative evaluations have seen an increase in recent months. That’s reflected in some of the most popular reviews on Steam, with some players even sharing recipes for food that can be prepared while waiting to connect to the internet while playing the game. A number of other reviews mention how they’ve been looking forward to playing this game for years since Smilegate first announced it in 2013. As a result of this, as well as the server problems, there has been a lot of waiting.
Many of the reviews, both positive and negative, express how much they enjoy the combat, frequently describing it as satisfying and entertaining. In my initial thoughts on the game, I mentioned that this was something I noticed. While it has a mediocre story, which has been noted by other Steam reviewers as well, the combat is truly the highlight of the experience. The use of “hitstops” and large groups of enemies really helps to elevate the action above that of other RPGs in terms of intensity and variety. Lost Ark makes you feel super powerful right from the start, which is a refreshing change from the way most MMOs are designed.
Of course, many reviews make mention of Diablo as well. It’s almost impossible to talk about The Raiders of the Lost Ark without bringing up this subject. In fact, it’s possible that it’s against the law. It seems like everyone else is bringing up Diablo when talking about lost ark gold, so I’ve decided to join in–better safe than sorry. An interesting observation is that a not-insignificant number of reviews have expressed concern about how Diablo IV compares to Raiden of the Lost Ark. However, I’m not so sure about that, but I believe there are some lessons to be learned from any game that attracts such a large number of players so quickly.
According to some Steam reviews, much of Lost Ark is generic and thematically similar, which isn’t entirely incorrect. You do spend a significant amount of time gathering items to give to NPCs and then repeating this process over and over. However, the numbers continue to rise, which is entertaining.
In general, it appears that everything is going smoothly for Lost Ark. Following this week’s edition of additional servers by Smilegate and its partner Amazon, the spike in negative reviews from frustrated customers who were unable to log on appears to be subsiding. Will lost ark gold for sale maintain its position atop the Steam sales charts for the foreseeable foreseeable future? However, based on a number of these reviews, I wouldn’t rule it out completely.
Amazon announced on February 13 that it would be establishing an entirely new region of servers in Europe in order to cope with the exceptionally high demand. However, while this will undoubtedly help to relieve the strain on the servers, it will also result in other issues. As a separate server region, players will not be able to interact with players from other regions, which means that certain region-specific features such as Crystal and Silver balances (two of the game’s currencies) will be inaccessible to players who migrate to that region. Amazon, on the other hand, asserts that this is the only way to accommodate more players in Europe.
The launch of the new server region is not specified, but Amazon claims to be working with Smilegate on it around the clock until it goes live. As a result, efforts to improve overall server stability continue, with Amazon and Smilegate issuing regular hotfixes to keep players connected. However, it is likely that it will take several weeks before the current server demand has been completely alleviated.
