Five Food Mascots Who Should Have Their Own Video Games

Remember when Cool Spot got a video game? The 7-Up mascot became the protagonist of a game, and it actually wasn’t that bad. There was also a Noid video game, which was less good. In the world of food, are there mascots that’d we’d like to see a real-deal video game for? Of course! Here are five of them.

1. The Lucky Charms Leprechaun

They’re after his Lucky Charms! It’s perfect for a game. You are Lucky the Leprechaun and you have a bowl of Lucky Charms, which are magically delicious. A bunch of kids are chasing after you. You have to stay ahead of them, but there are obstacles in the way. Also, the different marshmallow shapes are power ups. It all tracks.

The Illustrator Who Created the Trix Rabbit Has Died

2. The Trix Rabbit

No, this isn’t all cereal mascots. That being said, the Trix Rabbit is the flip of the Lucky Charms Leprechaun. He always wants Trix, but he is told they are for kids. You play as the Rabbit and are trying to get Trix. At the end of the levels you’d have to get a bit of “The princess is in another castle” treatment, but it’d all pay off in the end. Plus, rabbits can hop!

3. Little Caesar

Back in the day, there was a Chuck E. Cheese ripoff build around Little Caesar’s. We don’t need that back, but give the guy a video game. It could be set in Ancient Rome, which would give it a distinct look. Maybe you are building your pizza empire or something? Plus, it’d be fun to hear him say “Pizza, pizza!” at the end of every successful level.

The Spirochaete Trail: The World's Most Horrifying Advertising Animals #5: Taco Bell Chihuahua

4. The Taco Bell Chihuahua

Sure, the Chiahuahua isn’ around anymore, but we want a throwback game. Remember when Taco Bell did a tie-in with that ‘90s Godzilla movie? Could Godzilla somehow be involved in the game too? A team up between the Chihuahua and Godzilla? They could be like Banjo and Kazooie.

Keebler Elves Production Cel - ID: 01cc18 | Van Eaton Galleries

5. The Keebler Elves

The Keebler Elves don’t seem all that active, but neither did Cool Spot before his game came out. They live in a fantastical world. They could be going down chocolate rivers and stuff. World building is important in video games. So are delicious cookies. Trust us on that.
