Alt pop-punk musician scxtty explores toxicity in love on single “I Don’t Think You Love Me”

Following dreamy production “Red Camaro,” New Jersey born-and-bred alt pop-punk act scxtty drops anthemic single “I Don’t Think You Love Me”.  An upbeat offering with a deeper lyrical meaning, the relatable track has been crafted to provide comfort and remind us that we are not alone in our troubles. It’s a pity party that goes all wrong. The fun and upbeat tone sits totally different in the brain’s digestion than the lyrics preach. It’s as if scxtty is doing a cover of his own song. With a complete twist on the expected delivery, it’s such a sweet and sour taste that it’s just like candy; you don’t want it to end!! You will keep on listening repeatedly and keep “coming back for more”. How can not being happy be so much fun?

Written two years ago at the beginning of COVID, the earworm production was produced and mixed by Eric Schwartz, who has worked on all of scxtty’s songs so far.

Speaking of the message behind the track, the rising musician said, “This song really captures the feeling of knowing that someone is in a toxic relationship but is unable to leave due to being scared of being alone.”

scxtty is currently pursuing his master’s in music therapy, the promising talent who made his solo debut only last year, honing his artistry as one-third of alternative-rock band Malibu. Now with “I Don’t Think You Love Me,” as the first single to be taken from an EP in the works – titled Life Through Roses, due for release this summer –  he sets himself for a steady rise into stardom.A person with his hand on his face
