Path of exile is a very popular free to play MOBA game. It is a team-based game in which each player controls one character and tries to attack his or her opponents characters.
The game focuses on the concept of minion economy, where the minions you control act as both a storehouse of resources (or stashes) and an army that you can use to attack other minions.
Path of Exile started out as an online poker game in 2008, which was then picked up by Hi-Rez Studios as a mobile title for the Android platform in 2010. In 2014, it was released for PC under the name “Path of Exile: Eternal Edition”.

Path of Exile was released in the beginning of 2014. It’s the latest game in the famous “Mortals” franchise and has a huge following. The game is based on a fantasy setting. The game features an art style that is very different from other games and has been described as “monstrous and visceral.” In Path of Exile, players take control over one character on each team called a Forsaken, who can choose different items to equip for each of their characters by playing in a PvP arena. I’ve played several times since it was released and I’ve been enjoying it quite a bit. It’s not for everyone but it seems that there are fans that love playing with friends (or against them if you don’t want to play alone) so it’s definitely worth checking out if you enjoy PvP games or just like playing different classes at the same time.
Game History
Path of exile (PoE) is a free, open-source, massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), developed by Grinding Gear Games, which allows players to play a part in the act of creating an entire virtual world. PoE is also known as the “City of Heroes” or “Cataclysm” in some countries and regions. PoE was created as a sequel to the Shadowbane MMORPG, which was released in 2008.
In response to the Shadowbane community’s popularization of the term “Agents of Mayhem”, Grinding Gear Games have decided to rename PoE’s agent into “Sorians”. The name comes from “Sorian”, a fictional character from fantasy author J.R.R. Tolkien’s novel The Lord of The Rings.
The name “Sorians” was also picked for fear that players would use another player’s character name for their own character on purpose, similar to how some people do with their pets’ names . As such, it became clear that no other player had made a Sorian character yet and that this new name would be the most appropriate one for this type of player who has not yet played Shadowbane or other popular MMORPGs such as Everquest or Runescape.
This name change will be officially announced on August 3, 2014 when PoE will be officially released in beta and all current players will be able to create Sorians immediately upon launch.
