Carlos Vives Continues Environmental Work & Launches “El Canto Del Colibrí”

Assuming social commitments and promoting urgent causes has always been a fundamental part of the lives of many artists. As part of Carlos Vives’ work, “El Canto del Colibrí,” a song that unites the talents of four artists committed to the cause: Carlos VivesDavid Kawooq (of Doctor Krápula), the reggae and ska group Alto Grado and the Kogiman Latin fusion project, is out now. Listen to the song HERE!

With the idea in mind of sharing their admiration for natural beauty, the #RightsOfNature initiative was born, promoted by the Foundation for Conservation and Sustainable Development (FCDS), in Colombia. An initiative that, based on cultural actions, deals with spreading the urgent message about protecting the environment.

Global icon Carlos Vives, who was named in 2021 as one of “the 100 influential Latinos most committed to climate action,” continues his commitment to this cause and joins the group of Colombian artists in this vallenato-reggae, recorded in the studies of Gaira Música Local and Capital Latino Music of Bogotá, overflows energy and spreads with its cadence from its first chords.
