London based dance/pop singer-songwriter Tiggi Hawke is getting ready to release the YouNotUs remix to her latest single “You Are For Me” featuring Australian Pop/Soul Singer-Songwriter Joel Adams. Many might know the German DJ/Producer duo of YouNotUs from for their hit single “Narcotic” which added to their 4.2 Million monthly listeners on Spotify with over 200 Million streams. This remix comes after the success of the original version of the song that premiered with Sweety High, and follows the success of Tiggi’s 2021 dance hits “Back For You,” “Ride Or Die,” and “Gonna Run,” as well as 2020 hit “High Season,” which has now grown to almost 3 million streams on Spotify and is still growing. This all followed Tiggi’s 2019 emotionally charged hit single, “For What It’s Worth” with production duo SONDR (David Guetta/Galantis/Little Mix), which has racked up over 5 million streams on Spotify since its release. Now Tiggi is back with a YouNotUS remix to her new romantic single “You Are For Me” featuring Joel Adams.
When asked about “You Are For Me,” Tiggi said, “I think ‘You Are For Me’ is one of the most romantic songs I’ve released. It’s so open in what it’s about and I love how it explores both sides of the relationship. It’s very honest and becomes a bit conversational in the pre when each other’s insecurities are coming to the surface which feels very intimate to me, almost like hearing the little voice in someone else’s head. It was written on a writing camp in Marrakesh with some incredibly talented people and though it’s a duet now, we didn’t set out with that in mind but I’m so happy with how it turned out. When I heard Joel’s voice on the track for the first time I was immediately obsessed! I’m so excited for it to be released, it’s quite different to the last couple of singles that have gone out and I can’t wait for people to hear it.”
