Athena Severi, of the Titan Network, never set out to become an Amazon seller, much less the Queen of Amazon. Instead, Athena was attempting to climb the corporate ladder, while raising her family – two goals that at times were diametrically opposed.
Juggling her high-pressure corporate job and the needs of her family, led to some awkward moments, like taking calls from important clients while bouncing a baby on her knee. Finding reliable and stable childcare was always challenging, especially where her kids got sick and couldn’t attend daycare.
The stress of it all led Severi to rethink the way her life was structured.
“I wasn’t getting ahead and achieving what I wanted to,” Severi said. “I felt like I wasn’t being a good mom or a career person. Something had to give, and it turned out that Amazon was the vehicle to help me find time and location freedom.”
Developing a concept and then building a brand on Amazon paved the way for Severi to leave her job after three months, despite having no experience.

Transforming into a Titan, While Empowering Women
Long before she was speaking to an auditorium full of fledgling female entrepreneurs and even before her career in the corporate world, she spent eight years in the non-profit sector. It was there where she witnessed the power of enabling experts to teach their skills to those who are just starting out.
As the Queen of Amazon’s kingdom expanded, she began gathering her court. Severi started mentoring other moms at gatherings in her home, which grew to small events, which then transformed to a 70-person cruise, where she mentored other sellers on how to reach their goals and reach them quickly.
Attendees of her highly sought-after programs, including the popular China Magic mentorship trip, told her that they craved continued guidance and network after the conclusion of the program.
And voila! The Titan Network was born. The Titan Network melds Severi’s entrepreneurial minds with that of Amazon guru Dan Ashburn.
